I've made a lot of stuff!

NASA SUITS EVA Assistant
January – May 2026
Every year, NASA accepts proposals from universities across the US to develop an augmented reality prototype assistant for the next generation of space suits.
The Boise State NASA SUITS team was accepted in 2026, so we spent the next 6 months developing an application for the Hololens 2 that can be used to display procedures, monitor biometrics, navigate the Lunar surface and more. It included an AI assistant and Raspberry Pi-powered arm device capable of communicating with the headset and Ground Control.
At the end of the project, we were flown to Houston, Texas to present it to NASA astronauts, engineers, and flight controllers, as well as test it at their Lunar surface simulation space.
GIMM Launcher
January – May 2025
When I worked for Boise State University’s Games, Interactive Media and Mobile Technology (GIMM) department, we often gave local schools tours and told them about the program. I noticed for a program about making interactive media, we didn’t have anything for them to interact with.
So, I created the GIMM Launcher. It’s an app loaded on the computers in our lab that allows visitors to see, read about, and play student work. After developing it, we quickly saw visitor engagement skyrocket.
The infrastructure is very modular, allowing faculty to easily add and edit student projects without needing to touch source code or rebuild the app.
Geoscience Exhibit
January 2024
I, alongside some other GIMM students, developed an interactive data visualization about invasive plant species in Idaho in collaboration with Boise State University’s Human-Environment Systems Department.
This project was developed in one month for the Personal Structures Exhibition in Venice, Italy.
Location-Based PECS Board
April 2025
I worked with a group of GIMM students to develop a new type of PECS Board, a communication tool used by non-verbal individuals, particularly Autistic children.
Over the course of a month, we created a feature-packed iOS app that allowed users to create their own cards, build sentences, use text-to-speech to read sentences, define locations where additional cards are available, and navigate to various locations using augmented reality.
IoT Arduino-Alexa Communicator
August 2025
When I worked as a teaching assistant at Boise State University, I was tasked to create a technology stack that allowed an Arduino and Amazon Alexa to communicate with one another and store sensor information accessible to both devices.
This task was to see if communication between these two devices was possible. My source code was then shared with students as a base to build their final projects off of.
Manufacturing VR Training Program
January – May 2026
I worked with a group of GIMM students to create a VR training program for the manufacturing car tires.
The program follows the real-world process and has several accessibility features for users with motor, visual, auditory, and mental impairments.
Data Visualization Site
January 2024
I developed a website where users can view information and interactive visualizations about the 100 best-selling books of all time.
Users can view an interactive table where they can search, filter and sort the books or view interactive data visualizations.
